Co-founder & CEOBernice grew up cooking alongside her family and never lost the belief that a home-cooked meal is an act of love. With a background spanning product and operations, she leads Chilimo's vision to turn every talented home cook into a thriving micro-business. When she's not thinking about food systems, she's in the kitchen testing new recipes.

Co-founder & CTOPhoenix has been building software for over two decades and has always believed technology should solve real problems for real people. As a passionate home cook himself, he saw firsthand how hard it was for talented neighbors to share their food with the community. He built Chilimo to change that — one pickup order at a time.

Why We Built This
We started Chilimo because we kept missing the meal. We'd walk past a neighbor's kitchen, smell something incredible, and have no way to order it. We'd hear about an amazing home cook two streets over and have no way to find them. We built the platform we always wished existed — a place where the best food in any neighborhood is always just a few taps away.
